Rex A. Haught works in the Fresno Office of Bolen, Fransen &Russell LLP.
Rex received his undergraduate degree from Azusa Pacific College (B. A., magna cum laude, 1977). After working in Washington, D.C. and in Sacramento for several years, Rex received a graduate fellowship from the Educational Foundation of Rotary International. He completed a degree in International Studies at the University of Southampton, U.K. (M.Sc., 1983). Rex earned his law degree at McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific (J.D., 1984).
After five years of private practice, Rex joined Chicago Title Company as Associate Area Counsel. In that capacity, he developed extensive experience working on real estate, title insurance and escrow matters. Rex also served as Chairman of the Legislative Committee, California Land Title Association, 1997 - 1998. Since joining BF&R in 2000, Rex continues to work on real estate transactions as well as servicing clients on business transactions.
In addition to being a frequent speaker for the California Land Title Association, Rex has been a member of Ad Hoc Committee on Documentary Transfer Tax, Real Property Section, State Bar of California and currently serves as Co-chair and Member, Steering Committee, Real Property Roundtable.
Rex resides in Fresno and along with his wife Shelley, is rearing two sons. You can often spot Rex on one of the Central Valley's many any baseball fields, watching his sons, Fresno State or the Grizzles in action!
