Melissa E. Webb grew up in Hanford, California, and graduated from Hanford High. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, Summa Cum Laude, from California State University, Fresno in 2000. While attending CSU Fresno, Melissa worked as a corporate paralegal for Bolen Fransen LLP and upon graduation, moved to Sacramento to begin law school. In 2003, Melissa received her Juris Doctor, with Great Distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
While at McGeorge, Melissa was placed on the Dean’s Honor List from 2000-2003 and received the Witkin award in Legal Process and Evidence. She was named a member of the Traynor Honor Society and the Order of the Coif. Melissa was a staff member (2001-2002) and Chief Articles Editor (2002-2003) for the McGeorge Law Review. Melissa earned valuable experience in the field of estates and trusts while working as a research assistant and assisting with the drafting of a new estates and trusts casebook for Jan E. Rein, Professor of Estates and Trusts and Elder Law at McGeorge.
Melissa is a proud member of the State Bar of California, Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Law Section of the Fresno County Bar Association, Fresno County Women Lawyers and Fresno Sunset Rotary.
Melissa’s practice areas include all aspects of estate and succession planning, including living trusts, wills, irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. Melissa also handles probates, trust administrations and premarital agreements.
